Privacy
Short, because there is little to say: an account here holds an address, your saved setups and your saved builds, there is nothing to sell you, and nothing you type into a regex builder is sent to us.
What we hold, and only if you sign up
Nothing at all until you create an account, and you never have to. If you do, we hold your email address and your password — stored as a hash, which means we cannot read it — and from then on the regex setups you save, the builds you save and the posts you like. If you subscribe on Patreon, we also hold which tier you are on and the day it was set, because that is what decides how much we keep for you. If you sign in with Google, we also hold the account identifier Google gives us and the address it has confirmed; the name Google reports is used as a display name and nothing else. No avatar, no contacts, no access to anything in your Google account. Unlinking Google on the account page removes the identifier, and deleting the account removes it with everything else. That is the whole list. No name, no profile, no record of what you looked at, no contact forms, no comments. We take no payments and hold no card details — Patreon does that, and we never see them. Nothing typed into a search box or a regex builder is sent to us: it is read by your own browser and never leaves it.
Your account, and getting rid of it
The account page shows exactly what is stored and lets you delete the whole thing yourself — the account, its saved setups, its saved builds and its likes, in one action, with no copy kept and nothing to ask us for. There are two letters this site can send you, and both are asked for: one confirming your address when you sign up, and a link to set a new password when you ask for one. They are delivered by Resend, an American mail service and the only company your address is ever handed to — the letters are dispatched from Ireland, while their own records of them are kept in the United States. Nothing is sent to them unless you open an account. There is no mailing list here and nothing to unsubscribe from.
Analytics
We count visits with a self-hosted copy of Umami, running on our own server rather than at a third party. It records the page opened, where the link came from, the country and the kind of device — no cookies, no identifiers, nothing that points back at a person, and no tracking across other sites.
Cookies
Two, both set by the framework the site runs on: a session cookie and the anti-forgery token that pairs with it. Neither carries anything about you and neither is used to profile anyone, and there is no advertising cookie here — the day that changes, this page changes with it and you will be asked first. The language is not among them: it lives in the address, so /ru/ is Russian for everybody who opens it.
What your browser keeps
Saved regex setups, the game you last looked at, the currency you read prices in, and which mod groups you left open. All of it lives in your own browser's local storage and is never sent to us — clearing your site data removes it, and nothing on our side notices.
Where this runs
On a rented virtual server in the European Union, and on nothing else: the exchange data comes from the official Path of Exile API and is stored in our own database on that same machine.
Questions
Anything about this page, or about data you think we might hold: write to the address in the footer and it will be answered by the one person who runs this site.
This page describes the site as it works today, including who may hold an account and what it stores. It will be rewritten before anything changes it — advertising in particular.
